Much need for WMUB

WMUB is a much-needed member of the Oxford and Miami communities.  It airs a great mix of local and national programming that no other station provides.  For those of us who are not tied to a computer or TV all day and night, WMUB is THE source for local news, weather alerts, and educational programming. 

As a Miami graduate and a supporter of WMUB I hope that Miami continues to support the station.  WMUB enhances the image of Miami, so I cannot understand why Miami is even considering reducing funding.  It would be terribly sad if Miami--a leader in education--decides to diminish the educational opportunities of listeners by killing off the station, one of the few things Miami and non-Miami people share.
