WMUB *IS* Miami University

I am a regular WMUB listener but jump from station to station as my travels dictate. I find the debate over future plans for WMUB strange. As far as I am concerned WMUB IS Miami University. The radio station is the sole reason I am continually made aware of the existence of Miami University. It seems odd to me that the University can be debating the future role of one of its most visible (audible) public advocates. Without WMUB, Miami University drops completely off the radar, like it never existed.
